Lakeshore is a comfortable and pleasant neighborhood northwest of Downtown Vancouver. Its close proximity makes it the perfect location for those looking to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Vancouver life in a more suburban setting. I'd consider it a bit more laid back and humble than Felida, but still inset from I-5 sheltering it from the busier areas like Hazel Dell. If you're looking for a close knit community that isn't too opulent, Lakeshore definitely offers that type of environment. Located right on the other side of Vancouver Lake gives some properties an epic view, as well as, abundant trails and opportunities to get outdoors. One thing to note is, in a neighborhood this far west, you may hear the active train tracks heading from Vancouver's train station up to Seattle.
