Depending on your elevation, expect scenic views of either Mount Hood or Mount St. Helens from nearly anywhere in Salmon Creek. It’s also home to Washington State University. One detail homeowners have mentioned is that, much like any sprawling city, developers seem to be filling in any available bits of open space with new residential communities, making it feel a bit less “country” than it did 10+ years ago, when they originally purchased their homes.

Outdoor Highlights and Things to Do: 
· Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond - A wonderful location for an outdoor gathering, with a small sandy ‘beach’ for young kids, a splash pad, fire pits & bbqs, fishing, and paved walking trail. Unfortunately Fido isn’t welcome here, but you will notice many people prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission on this.
· Salmon Creek Greenway Trail - Three paved miles of scenic trails, where you’ll see a variety of wildlife. It’s wheelchair accessible, and welcomes horseback riders.
· Salmon Creek Trail - Five paved miles through wetlands and ponds, that, aside from the beginning, is mostly flat.
